Three people Killed in Cumilla road accident

Three people, including a couple, were killed in a road accident in Korbanpur area of Muradnagar upazila in Cumilla on Tuesday afternoon.

The deceased were Saddam Hossan, 27, son of Rafiqul Islam of Nabiganj in Brahmanbaria, his wife, aged around 24, and the car driver Abdur Rahman, 28, of Kabirhat upazila in Noakhali.

Bangra Bazar police officer-in-charge Md Kamruzzaman Talukdar, quoting local people, said that the accident took place as the car fell into a road side ditch in the area after its driver lost his control over the steering, leaving all three dead on the spot.

The police recovered the bodies and sent those to morgue for post-mortem examinations, he added. (Source: New Age)
