BSMMU holds preparatory meet on coronavirus

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University held an emergency meeting on coronavirus (COVID-19) treatment preparations in Dr Milon Hall on the campus on Saturday.

BSMMU vice-chancellor Kanak Kanti Barua presided over the meeting attended by pro-vice-chancellor (administration) Professor Muhammad Rafiqul Alam, pro-vice-chancellor (education) Professor Sahana Akhter Rahman, registrar Professor ABM Abdul Hannan, proctor Professor Syed Mozaffar Ahmed, treasurer Professor Mohammad Atiqur Rahman, along with departmental chairmen, teachers, students, nurses, officers and employees of the university were present there.

Meanwhile, Oral Health Foundation distributed hand sanitiser and PPE at the dental outdoor of the university. Bangladesh Medical Association president Mustafa Jalal Mohiuddin was chief guest at the inauguration of the distribution programme.

BSMMU vice-chancellor Kanak Kanti Barua and Awami League health secretary Dr Rokeya Sultana were special guests of the programme presided over by head of conservative dentistry Dr Ali Asgar Morol. (Source: New Age)
