United Hospital provides telemedicine service for patients

United Hospital introduced telemedicine service for patients who are unable to reach doctors during the crisis caused by the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

Through this service, those who have an urgent medical issue to address or those who need advice on routine follow-up treatment can avail video consultation by connecting to United Hospital’s consultants through Skype, said a release.

Prior appointment needs to be taken by calling Hotline 10666 or 02-9852466 to book slots of consultants of chosen clinical specialty and after that patients can connect with the consultants via Skype.

At present, United Hospital operates telemedicine service for patients of Chattogram and Sylhet through local information centers. (Source: New Age)
